What Immaculate Grid Is#

Immaculate Grid gives each row and column a sports criterion. Enter a qualifying athlete at each intersection to complete the grid.

The name refers to baseball’s immaculate inning: three strikeouts in nine pitches. The puzzle also offers grids for other sports.

How to Play#

Check the sport’s eligibility rules before choosing a player. Each wrong guess uses part of the nine-guess allowance without filling a cell.

Once you know a qualifying answer, decide whether to use it or search for a less common one. Correctness comes first; rarity adds another challenge.

What to Try Next#

Poeltl asks you to identify one basketball player from comparison clues. Immaculate Grid asks for several valid answers that satisfy different intersections.
