What is the best starting equation for Nerdle?
52-34=18 leads NerdleBuddy’s simulated opener ranking, with 48-32=16 and 52-38=14 close behind. All three display 3.0 guesses left in the solver. These are results for the tested model and strategy; pick an opener you can enter reliably.the opener rankings
How many valid Nerdle equations are there?
NerdleBuddy's generated model contains 17,723 candidate answer strings and 67,346 guess strings. Every one of its extra 49,623 guess-only strings contains a left-side standalone zero. With commutativity enabled, the model's written answer forms collapse into 10,757 winning groups. These are reproducible NerdleBuddy model counts, not a claim that 67,346 exhausts every guess the official game may accept.
Are division equations the best starters?
Division openers are playable, but our simulation ranks the leading two-digit subtraction openers higher. The best division opener in the stored results, 168/7=24, averages about 3.03 guesses; 138/69=2 averages about 3.06.operator statistics
Can zero ever appear in a Nerdle answer?
Zero can appear inside a multi-digit number (like 10, 20, or 100) and can even be the entire result — 367 answers end in =0, like 10-3-7=0. What never appears in an answer is a standalone zero to the left of the equals sign (like 0+5 or 5×0). This rule catches many players off guard.the hidden rules
What is the most common digit in Nerdle?
In NerdleBuddy's generated answer model, the digit '1' is the most common: 60.8% of candidate answers contain at least one 1, and no other digit clears 53%. The digit '0' is the rarest at 25.2%; it can appear inside multi-digit numbers or as the result, but the model excludes a standalone zero on the left side.digit statistics
How many guesses should it take to solve Nerdle?
You have six guesses, and a difficult game can use all of them. NerdleBuddy’s saved strategy averages 2.9637 guesses and needs at most five across its modeled answer pool. That measures the saved strategy, not a target every player should meet.
What does it mean when a tile is purple?
The character is in the answer, but that position is ruled out. If you use it again as a possible answer, move it. Check repeated copies separately: an extra copy can still be black.
Where does the equals sign usually appear?
In NerdleBuddy’s Classic model, = appears in position 6 in 59.3% of answer forms. That leaves a five-character expression and a two-digit result. The other legal positions are 5 and 7.where the equals sign goes
How many attempts do you get in Nerdle?
Six. Each attempt must be a complete, mathematically correct equation. Use the colors from each row to decide what your next guess needs to test.
Where can I replay old Nerdle puzzles?
In two places. The Past Nerdles archive collects verified Classic Nerdle answers by date, each with a playable replay of the exact published equation. NerdleBuddy's own puzzle archive goes much further back — one original equation for every date since January 1, 2000 — so you never have to stop at one puzzle a day.Past Nerdles
How do NerdleBuddy points work?
Finish puzzles, keep a streak, and complete daily goals to earn points; points add up to levels, and a signed-in profile keeps the tally across devices. They change nothing about the puzzles themselves — points are the bragging-rights layer on top of the solving. How Points Work
What's the difference between NerdleBuddy and Nerdle?
Nerdle is the official daily game. NerdleBuddy is an independent companion with a solver, verified official-answer pages and replays, plus a separate series of original puzzles for practice.
