Puzzles by Day of Year
Every date since January 1, 2000 has its own NerdleBuddy puzzle — which means your birthday, your anniversary, or any day you care about has one in every year. Pick a day and play them all — add your birth year and we'll spotlight the puzzle from the day you were born.

How Day Pages Work#
NerdleBuddy's daily games are our own Nerdle-style puzzles: each calendar date deterministically selects one of the 17,723 valid equations, going all the way back to our first game on January 1, 2000. Your birthday in 2007 has a different equation than your birthday in 2019 — so one day of the year gives you a whole personal puzzle collection, one per year, each with a computed difficulty rating.
Every game comes with our built-in hints, and after you solve it you'll see how your path compares to optimal play. New to the game? Skim how to play first, or bring the strategy guide's best opener with you.
Frequently Asked Questions#
What is a NerdleBuddy birthday game?
Every calendar date since January 1, 2000 has its own unique NerdleBuddy puzzle. Your birthday games are the puzzles for your birth date in each year — one per year, each with a different equation.
Are these official Nerdle puzzles?
No — they are NerdleBuddy originals. The official Nerdle game at nerdlegame.com launched in January 2022 and publishes one puzzle per day. NerdleBuddy's archive assigns our own Nerdle-style puzzle to every date back to 2000, with built-in hints and unlimited replay.
What if my birthday is February 29?
Leap-day birthdays get a game only in leap years (2000, 2004, 2008, and so on) — seven playable games so far. The day pages handle this automatically.
Can I play a day's game from a year that hasn't happened yet?
This year's game unlocks on the day itself (dates roll over at midnight UTC). Until then the day page lists every year up to the most recent one that has arrived.
