What Connections Is#

NYT Connections asks you to find four groups with a shared connection. After four incorrect submissions, the round ends.

A word may fit more than one tempting group. Compare all sixteen words before deciding which four belong together.

How to Play#

Look for a complete group, then check whether one of its words is needed elsewhere. Category colors indicate difficulty; some connections use wordplay rather than shared meaning.

What to Try Next#

Try Daily Quadle for another word-grouping game. Strands uses a shared theme too, but asks you to find words in a letter grid.
