What TimeGuessr Is#
TimeGuessr asks for two estimates per photo: where it was taken and when. A close estimate can still score points.
A daily set has five rounds, with up to 5,000 location points and 5,000 year points per round. The maximum total is 50,000.
How to Play#
Look for signs, architecture, vehicles, and clothing, and use several clues together. Image color or sharpness alone is unreliable evidence of a date.
What to Try Next#
Chronophoto focuses on the year of a photograph. TimeGuessr adds location, so it suits players who enjoy both geography and historical clues.
