Play today’s Nerdle replayWhat Summle Is#
Summle gives you a target and number tiles. Combine tiles using arithmetic operations; each result becomes a subtotal tile for a later calculation.
The challenge is finding a short route to the target. Check the available modes for a number range and set of operations that suit you.
Play it at summle.net. Summle is made by a separate publisher. This is an independent guide.
How to Play Summle#
Work both forward from the tiles and backward from the target. For a target near a multiple of five, for example, look for a way to make that multiple and adjust it.
A used tile is consumed. Its result becomes a new tile, so reuse the subtotal rather than trying to spend the original numbers again.
Summle vs Nerdle#
What the two share
- Uses familiar arithmetic operations
- Rewards spotting useful numerical relationships
- Each step can be checked for mathematical validity
What changes
- You construct a route to a shown target
- The challenge counts arithmetic steps
- Modes can change the available numbers and operations
Summle is a good fit if you enjoy building calculations and comparing shorter routes. Countle offers a related format; Mathler adds hidden-expression deduction when you want a different constraint.

Frequently Asked Questions#
Can you reuse numbers in Summle?
Each tile can be used once. Combining tiles creates a new subtotal tile that can be used in a later step.
What are Summle's modes?
Summle offers modes with different constraints and difficulty. Use the game's current menu to choose the one that fits you.
Is there a Summle app?
Use summle.net for browser play. Follow links from the game's own site when looking for an app.
Is Summle like Nerdle?
Both use arithmetic, but their goals differ. Summle shows the target and asks you to build a route; Nerdle hides an equation and gives feedback on guesses.
