What Fibble Is#
Fibble uses a familiar word grid with one deliberate false color per feedback row. A green, yellow, or gray tile may be the incorrect clue.
Compare rows instead of acting on a single tile. A suspected contradiction needs to account for repeated letters as well as the false clue.
How to Play#
Retest useful letters and check which interpretation is consistent with the other rows. Use the marking controls to record your working assumptions, and revise them when new evidence arrives.
What to Try Next#
Xordle makes you assign clues between two answers. Fibble asks a different question: which clue in each row is wrong?

Frequently Asked Questions#
How many lies are in each Fibble row?
Exactly one per row, in a random position. It can affect any color in either direction — including making a correct letter look gray or an absent letter look green.
How many guesses does Fibble give you?
Eight guesses for a single five-letter word — two more than Wordle, to compensate for the unreliable feedback.
More Games Like Fibble#
An adversarial Wordle that hasn't picked a word at all — it keeps the largest possible pool alive and dodges your guesses until logic corners it.
The goal flips: you lose by guessing the word. Locked-in letters must be reused, so the game keeps dragging you toward the answer.
Two secret words hide on one board and share no letters — every row of feedback describes both at once.
