The Daily Schedule#
By default, everyone in the world gets the same Classic Nerdle on the same UTC date, and the puzzle changes when the UTC date does. That means the new puzzle lands in the evening for players in the Americas (for example, 8:00 PM Eastern during daylight-saving time or 7:00 PM during standard time), very early morning in Europe and Africa, and morning to midday across Asia and Oceania.
Nerdle’s dated public answer page can be published a little after the puzzle itself changes, so the new puzzle is often playable before the day’s hints and the verified answer for today’s Nerdle are available.

A new Classic Nerdle normally comes out at 00:00 UTC (midnight UTC). In local terms that is evening in the Americas, and early morning to midday across Europe, Asia, and Oceania — the tool above shows the exact moment for your time zone.
Why did my friend get a different Nerdle than me?
Nerdle has an optional local-midnight setting. When it is enabled, that player's puzzle changes at their device's midnight instead of 00:00 UTC, so two players can briefly be on different puzzle dates.
When is the Nerdle answer published?
Nerdle's dated public answer page can appear a little after the new puzzle goes live. NerdleBuddy's answer page only shows an answer after that dated source is available and passes verification.
Does NerdleBuddy's daily puzzle change at the same time?
No — NerdleBuddy's original daily puzzle changes at your own local midnight, so everyone gets their new puzzle when their day starts. Classic Nerdle keeps its default 00:00 UTC schedule.
